ACTORS
ACTORS are a Vancouver-based post-punk and darkwave band sculpting shadowy, synth-laced anthems built for late nights and loud rooms. Led by producer and vocalist Jason Corbett, the group blends icy guitar lines, analog textures, and pulse-quickening drums into a sound that nods to the 1980s while staying unmistakably current. Their breakout debut album "It Will Come to You" and follow-up "Acts of Worship" sharpened that vision, delivering songs like "Face Meets Glass," "Strangers," and "L'appel du Vide" that balance tension, melody, and mood. Onstage, ACTORS turn brooding hooks into motion, inviting fans into a cathartic, neon-lit release.
ASH CODE
Formed in Napoli, Italy, in January 2014, Ash Code emerged when singer/programmer Alessandro Belluccio and keyboardist/backing vocalist Claudia Nottebella completed two demo tracks ‘Dry Your Eyes’ and ‘Unnecessary Songs’ , previously begun by Alessandro’s othe project. Shortly after the online release, they brought in Alessandro’s brother Adriano Belluccio to play Bass VI.
Ash Code blend darkwave, post‐punk, synth‐pop, and EBM. Their sound draws heavily from early ’80s icons Depeche Mode, The Sisters of Mercy, New Order, The Cure, utilizing drum machines, powerful analog synths, and Fender VI bass to evoke deep emotional resonance.
They’ve toured 27 countries across Europe, the Americas, Russia, and beyond, supporting bands like Lebanon Hanover, IAMX, Clan Of Xymox, Cold Cave, She Past Away, Drab Majesty, The Soft Moon, and more. Festival appearances include Wave‐Gotik‐Treffen (2015, 2018, 2023), Amphi Festival, Castle Party, Cold Waves, and Nocturnal Culture Night. During early COVID lockdowns, they spearheaded livestream “Gothicat” festivals to raise funds for healthcare.
Ash Code are at the forefront of modern darkwave: rooted in ’80s cold‐wave tradition yet dynamically evolving. Their catalog charts a path from existential introspection to kinetic club energy. With global touring credentials, high-profile festival slots, and growing influence (acclaim, media coverage, industry accolades), they’re a potent force in the alternative music world.
